Ella is a great eater! She loves almost anything, especially if it's coming from our plate! Just thought I would share some pictures of Ella begging for more pizza from Dave tonight! She already ate some of mine before Dave got home! So apparently I will be making homemade pizza more often... I think it's a new favorite for her!

Slowly Getting Back to Normal...
Well, it's been a rough couple of weeks. Ella has been a little under the weather. Ella experienced her first "high" fevers over the past couple of weeks, actually Thursday before my 1st day at school last Friday. After having her at the doctor for "cold" like symptoms her fever shot up to 106.2... needless to say we headed straight back into the doctors office, luckily the Motrin kicked in and it went down. Then throughout the weekend it was anywhere from 102-104... then finally on Monday it backed down before she completely broke out in a rash on Tuesday. I can't believe how much she slept, morning and afternoon naps plus sleeping 12+ hours at night and just lounging on the couch, not normal for our little girl. Unfortunately the doctor couldn't diagnose it when we were there Thursday so I did some research after the rash appeared and determined it was probably roseolla. So after a rough couple of weeks Ella is getting back to her fun self! Here are a few pictures of her not feeling so hot.

Summer Fun!
Well, our summer is almost officially over. I have my first "Teacher" day on Friday. I've been gradually preparing Ella for the return to the babysitter- fulltime! She's gone a couple days a week this summer just to keep her a little familiar with it! We've taken some time to enjoy our last couple weeks of summer. Ella and I headed to Ohio for a few days to visit Mike, Krista and the girls! We had a blast hanging out and exploring the Cleveland area with Krista and the girls. We even made it to the beach on the Great Lake! Krista, Emily, Ella and I also had the opportunity to hike at Whipps Ledges, it was a beautiful day... unfortunately a tree fell on the "easy" path so Krista and I were forced to climb gigantic rocks with our babies attached to us to make it to the tops of the ledges, boy was it worth it! So after a few days of fun in the Cleveland area Ella and I headed back home to finish out our summer! Ella continues to grow and change like crazy! She just popped through her 9th tooth today- a molar! She still isn't completely walking on her own, she can walk 3 steps really well then decides to sit down before taking more! However, tonight she walked almost 1/2 way across our living room!!! So, I'm sure it won't be long before she is walking everywhere! Well, that's the update on us for now. I made a slide show of some recent pictures of Ella, I finally got a new camera so I've taken lots of pictures over the past couple of weeks!

Update on Ella!
Well our little girl is 14 months old today, it's crazy! We are getting along great, keeping busy and tyring to squeeze in all of the last minute summer fun before I have to head back to school in two weeks...yuck! Unfortunately while I was in Las Vegas for Karla's 30th Birthday my camera broke after taking 1 picture so I don't have any new pictures to post. I hope to have a new one by the end of the weekend and post some updated pictures of Ella. We're headed to go visit Krista & the girls in Ohio for a few days so I should get some good ones! I'll be sure to post when I return!

We are Still Here... just busy!
At the zoo
Well it's been a crazy few weeks. It's summer but that doesn't mean the life of an Ag teacher slows down, I think it gets even busier! We just finished up with the Young McDonald's Barn at the County fair and now it's on to Summer SAE visits with my students! Luckily, I am headed to Las Vegas on Friday with my sister and 10 other ladies to celebrate her 30th Birthday! So Dave will get to spend a few days taking care of Ella, with the help of his mom! (He really does watch her alot and does a great job, but this will be the first extended trip for me!) Ella has also had a pretty busy few weeks, we've tried to spend sometime outside trying out her new kiddie pool, however she's not a big fan. Then with the big wind we had a couple of weeks ago it blew away and is nowhere to be found! We also found the time to visit the zoo with Grandpa and Grandma Jarrett, celebrate Brayden's 1st Birthday, Hudson's 2nd Birthday, Daddy's birthday, visit Grandpa & Grandma Jarrett's Lake cottage and just play around the house! She's getting more brave and walking around all of our furniture and climbing onto everything! She's still not walking on her own yet but I'm sure that will come, she's doing just fine getting into everything now so I think I can hold off on the whole walking thing! That's the update on us, here are a few pictures of Ella over the past few weeks!

Early Summer Update!
Well school is out but I don't think I've slowed down! I was at Ag Teacher Workshop last week and then State FFA Convention this week. Hopefully I'll have some down time in the coming weeks! Ella is doing great, changing like crazy! At her 1 year appointment she was 22pounds 3 ounces (70th percentile) and 30 inches long (80th percentile) We've been trying to enjoy all sorts of different activities this summer, we went to the Mentone parade to see Riley and participated in the Relay for Life too! Luckily we've been able to spend some time with family and Ella has had a chance to play with her big cousins. Krista's daughter Emily is is only 5 months older than Ella so they seem to have a unique connection! This week Dave got to stay home with Ella while I was gone 3 days for convention. As far as I know everything went great and they had some quality father/daughter bonding time! Luckily Ella waited to start "Cruising" for me... today she finally decided it was time to walk around our furniture!!!!! She's been pulling herself up and standing for sometime but she didn't want to move so I was pretty excited when she was walking all around our coffee table. Unfortunately the video camera wasn't nearby but I did snap a few pictures of her. So that's the update on all of us!
