11 Months Old...
As of tomorrow Ella will be 11 months old. I can't believe it, time has really flown. She is still such an incredibly happy little girl. She constantly giggles and jabbers! She loves being mobile, she crawls all over the house, she especially loves crawling into our bedroom and exploring, then making her way to check out our bathroom too! I am constantly mopping and picking every little crumb off the kitchen floor otherwise she will find it and eat it later... pretty gross! She now has 4 teeth, 2 top and 2 bottom! She loves food... no more baby food whatever we have on our plates, if she can't pick it up she really doesn't want it, so meal time is a bit more messy now! (which is why we constantly have to clean the kitchen floor) She still loves bath time and then loves to take off after bath time and explore in the buff!!! It's hilarious! She's starting to stand a little more than she used to but she would still rather just crawl all over. So that's the update on Ella... our baby girl is 11 months old!

Spring Break 2009!
Well, it's been an eventful few weeks. Obviously I've been away from the blog for a while so here is the update! Two weeks ago we headed to Florida with my family. It was Spring Break for Karla and I so we took advantage of Mom & Dad's new place in Florida! Krista, Mike and the Girls came down to meet us too! I didn't think we were ready to drive that far with Ella so Dave, Ella, Karla & the Boys, Mom, Shannen and myself all flew down to Orlando. We arrived Saturday night so we relaxed and checked out the "park" on Sunday. Mom and Dad bought an Executive Suite for their RV in a park called the Great Outdoors in Titusville, about 40 minutes from Orlando. On Monday we all headed to Disney, there we met up with Krista, Mike and the Girls. All of us ventured into the Magic Kingdom to experience all of the magic! It was packed, I can't believe how many people were there. Ella seemed to be okay with it and managed to get in a nap while waiting for some of the attractions. After a sudden down pour we finally made it back to Krista's hotel to put the kids down for naps then headed back for even more magic later in the evening. After enjoying shorter lines and watching the fireworks at Disney we finally made it back to the park around 1:30am... a bit late for Ella & Me! So the rest of the week we just spent relaxing and enjoying the wonderful weather. Dave and I did sneak away for an afternoon to check out Kennedy Space Center, it was only 10 minutes away! It's been a very long time since I've been there so it was pretty cool to experience it again! On Thursday Mike, Krista, Emily, Ava, Dave, Ella and I all made the short drive over to Cocoa Beach to see the ocean. I'm the over protective mom so we only spent about an hour there because I didn't want Ella to burn. You'll notice in the majority of the pictures she always has on her hat and sunglasses... what you can't see is the thick coating of sunscreen! I used to fry in the sun as a child and just don't want that to happen to Ella! We also all went to dinner at a wonderful seafood restaurant to celebrate Easter then headed back to the park for the Easter Egg Hunt! So that is basically the recap of our trip, it was great to spend some quality time in the warm weather with my family and watch all of the "cousins" play together! Hopefully this will become an annual event!
Easter!
Just wanted to post a few pictures of Ella's first Easter. She found her basket on the fireplace... I think the Easter bunny was confused and thought he was Santa Clause! She's really forming her own little personality, she is definitely a little busy body, she loved "tearing" into the basket and checking everything out! So here a few pictures of Ella getting her basket after church!
Spring Days...
Today was a beautiful spring day and Ella and I took advantage of it! Ella attended her first auction this morning, she really seemed to like the "fast" talking! Then later this afternoon I took her on her first wagon ride, Grandpa & Grandma Jarrett gave her a wagon for Christmas and today was the perfect day to try it out! We didn't go far, just across the yard and part of the field to show Dave where to plant the trees but she really seemed to enjoy it! I also gave her a chance to "play" in the grass, she is not a big fan. She would much rather just sit in her wagon and play with the grass in her hand, she is very delicate with it! I took her socks off to let her test it out and she tried to hold her feet up, she had no desire to move around in the grass, it's pretty cute!

10 Months Old...
Ella is now ten months old. I've been horrible about updating recently, it's been pretty busy around here! Ella has definitely started moving more, she can now crawl!!! She's also in the process of getting her two top teeth to match her two bottom teeth, they're both coming in at once, but she's still pretty happy! Ella had another big first, I left her overnight for the first time, in fact I'm still gone at a training for school, I think it was more difficult for me, she seems to be getting along just fine! As soon as I get back we are headed south for Ella's first trip to Florida over spring break. Unfortunately no pictures today but I'm sure we'll have plenty after our trip to Florida! Just wanted to share a quick update!
