Our Little Pig!

Ella had her 1st "real" opportunity to go Trick or Treating last night. She was a pig and she was adorable! She wasn't really into the Trick or Treating experience but once Mom and Dad pumped her full of candy she was starting to enjoy it! Here are the pictures from her big night. Oh, I also attached one of Ella's first shiner. It's still up in the air where it came from you ask my dad he says Hudson and her collided and you ask my sister and she says she ran into a table while dad was watching her for a short period of time... we'll never know, maybe a combination of the two! Anyway, it was just in time for the "Grandchildren Picture" that mom had scheduled! So, that's it for now, as of Friday our little girl is now 17 months old... I'm not sure where the time has gone!

Back Again!

Sorry for the delay on the post, I forgot how crazy the fall is for an Ag Teacher/FFA advisor, lets just say I enjoyed my maternity leave last fall! Things have been great around the Jarrett house, Ella is moving like crazy, walking/running all over. She is such a happy girl, jabbering all the time... luckily more words are recognizable now! She's 16 months old, it's amazing how fast that has gone! I've been busy helping my mom with real estate recently, hopefully we can get that up and running in the near future! Dave's job is still going strong, glad to see the automotive industry has kept him busy! Well I'll be sure to post pictures really soon, just have to upload them first!

Growing, Growing, Growing!

Ella is continuing to grow and change like crazy! We've been spending plenty of time outside playing... she finally likes grass! She also has really started to move around and walk more... she's pretty consistently taking 6-7 steps at a time! At times she will walk 1/2 way across the room so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before that's her number 1 mode of transportation! We also went to Purdue to watch the Boilers in their season opener last weekend. She enjoyed the tailgate, especially all of the sweat treats all of her "friends" were giving her! She played cornhole with Grandma Sally. We did make it into the stadium for a short time but it was Ella's naptime so we didn't stick around too long! Anyway, here are some recent pictures of Ella. I finally have her 15 month appointment tomorrow so I'll post the "stats" later!

Toys!

Ella got this awesome horse from Grandpa & Grandma Jarrett for Christmas but we just put it together over the weekend, she loves it! We haven't hooked it up to the TV yet but that will come eventually. Here is Ella playing with her new horse! Oh, I also got a new tent for Ella... she loves it. I think she spends 1/2 of her night playing in there! This is a picture of her headed into her "house!"

Pizza!

Ella is a great eater! She loves almost anything, especially if it's coming from our plate! Just thought I would share some pictures of Ella begging for more pizza from Dave tonight! She already ate some of mine before Dave got home! So apparently I will be making homemade pizza more often... I think it's a new favorite for her!

Slowly Getting Back to Normal...

Well, it's been a rough couple of weeks. Ella has been a little under the weather. Ella experienced her first "high" fevers over the past couple of weeks, actually Thursday before my 1st day at school last Friday. After having her at the doctor for "cold" like symptoms her fever shot up to 106.2... needless to say we headed straight back into the doctors office, luckily the Motrin kicked in and it went down. Then throughout the weekend it was anywhere from 102-104... then finally on Monday it backed down before she completely broke out in a rash on Tuesday. I can't believe how much she slept, morning and afternoon naps plus sleeping 12+ hours at night and just lounging on the couch, not normal for our little girl. Unfortunately the doctor couldn't diagnose it when we were there Thursday so I did some research after the rash appeared and determined it was probably roseolla. So after a rough couple of weeks Ella is getting back to her fun self! Here are a few pictures of her not feeling so hot.
