Today was Ella's two month appointment. I've really noticed her changing and growing so I was excited to see how big she was. She is now a hefty 12 pounds, 12 ounces- 91st percentile for her age and she is 24 3/8 inches long- 97th percentile for her age or the same length as an average 4 month old! The doctor said she is doing great and everything looks good. She got her vaccinations today, I made them wait until my mom got there to give her the shots, I really didn't think I could handle it on my own. I really struggled to watch the nurse give her the shots so I sure am glad that mom was there. I attached a few pictures of Ella from this morning, she's such a happy girl. I moved her up to her room last night, she slept great and woke up at 8:30am. It was strange for me not to have her next to our bed, I'm sure I'll get used to it but I really liked having her right there. Unfortunately I noticed that she was starting to wake up earlier, I think Dave getting around for work woke her up, so it was time for her to be in her own room. It's hard to believe that she's over two months old, I guess time flies when you're having fun! I'm really looking forward to spending more time with her this fall.... I'm sure I will not want to go back to work in January!
